My name is Stella St. Clair. I’m currently a senior at Midtown High School in Atlanta, GA. I’ve maintained a grade point average of 3.75 along with seven AP courses. In the fall, I will be attending Georgia Southern University’s Statesboro campus as a member of their Honors College. I plan to major in Communication Studies and minor in Management.
I’ve been a part of prestigious journalism programs such as PBS NewsHour’s Student Reporting Labs 2024 Summer Academy, and I was the Georgia representative for the 2025 Al Neuharth Free Spirit and Journalism Conference. Additionally, I have edited and produced videos for the Georgia First Amendment Foundation. I’ve specifically worked on videos for the Weltner Honorees. You can watch the video I worked on for Ms. Sally Bethea here, and you can watch the video I worked on for Dean Charles Davis here.
I am the Executive Producer of Midtown High School’s newscast, Knight View. Additionally, I was previously the Managing Multimedia Editor for Midtown High School’s Newspaper, the Southerner. My largest strengths within video production include video editing (Adobe Premiere Pro), stacking and scriptwriting (Rundown Creator), and camera operation. But I can do a little bit of everything if I need to.
The most significant work I’ve completed has been for the Georgia First Amendment Foundation, my school’s newscast, Knight View, and Dynamo Studios.
Aside from my journalistic, video production, and academic work, I enjoy taking photos (oftentimes on my digital camera from the early 2000s), writing/journaling, spending time with my loved ones, and watching movies.
